If you like to plan where to eat before a trip, you have probably come across CyprusBites. It is a dining guide for the island, the kind of place people browse when they want to find somewhere good near the water rather than scrolling endlessly through a map. We are happy to say that Mer Bleue has its own listing there, and that guests have been kind about us.

What the listing says

On CyprusBites we are described more or less the way we would describe ourselves: a beachfront fish tavern in Voroklini, Larnaca, known for fresh fish, oysters, calamari, Greek salads and homemade dips, with tables looking out over the water. At the time of writing the page shows a rating of 4.2 out of 5 from more than nine hundred guest reviews, and it flags us as a tourist favourite, which we do not take for granted.

Fresh catches, honest homemade sides, and a view that does half the work. That is the Mer Bleue people write about, and it is the one we try to serve every day.

You can read the full listing, see photos and browse what other guests have said here: Mer Bleue on CyprusBites. It is a good place to get a feel for the restaurant before you visit, and to see how we sit among the other seafront spots in the Larnaca area.

Come and see for yourself

A listing and a rating are a nice thing to have, but the real version is a table at the edge of the terrace with the sea a few steps away. Have a look at the menu, read our guide to fish taverns in Larnaca, or book a table and come find out why people keep writing kind things about us.
