Most of Larnaca's beach hotels stand on the coast road that runs east from town towards Dhekelia. Mer Bleue sits on that stretch too, on the Oroklini seafront, so for many hotel guests we are a short walk or a five minute taxi away. The coast road has plenty of places to eat, from hotel restaurants to beach bars. This page covers the one we know best.

The hotels further east
Lordos Beach, Sandy Beach and Golden Bay stand close together about two and a half kilometres further along the coast towards Dhekelia. A taxi takes about five minutes. The rebuilt Dhekelia road opened in July 2026 with new pavements and cycle lanes, so on a cool evening the walk back along the coast is an option too.
What to expect when you get here
Mer Bleue is a family run fish tavern, open every day from 9:00 to 23:00, with the kitchen serving until 22:00. Tables on the terrace sit a few steps from the water. A grilled sea bream is about 19 euro, grilled octopus 24, and the fish meze 33 euro a head for two or more. There is a children's menu at 7 euro, and the menu lists everything else, from sushi to steaks.
Hotel guests often come on the night they want a change from the buffet. Walk in for lunch, and book a table for dinner in July and August or for a group.
